Masthead and Editorial Team

Institutional Structure

DeshiApp operates through a disciplined, independent digital publishing framework. This masthead identifies the functional roles and offices accountable for our editorial decision-making, publication ethics, contributor oversight, commercial separation, corrections, reader privacy, accessibility, and platform security. DeshiApp rejects manufactured corporate hierarchies, fictitious staff directories, honorary advisory boards, and embellished titles intended to simulate an oversized corporate newsroom. Editorial duties may be executed by dedicated individuals, collaborative teams, or qualified specialist partners, yet operational accountability remains concrete and enforceable across every published piece.

Named editorial personnel are formally listed on this page only after their operational roles, editorial authority, and sustained responsibilities have been verified. In the interim, official communication is managed through the functional desks specified below. Contact listings on this page indicate distinct administrative responsibilities rather than separate full-time departments.

Publisher and Final Editorial Responsibility

The Publisher bears ultimate institutional, legal, and editorial responsibility for DeshiApp’s mission, operational compliance, public standards, and editorial integrity. This mandate includes formal approval of newsroom policies, final determinations on high-risk investigative reports, ownership and financial disclosures, strict commercial segregation, corrections and retraction decisions, and high-level complaint adjudication. Publisher oversight does not confer immunity from conflict of interest rules. Any coverage touching upon investments, personal ventures, corporate clients, commercial partners, or familial ties linked to the Publisher is governed strictly under our Conflict of Interest Policy, requiring mandatory disclosure, editorial recusal, or independent third-party review.

Formal corporate, institutional, and legal notices should be directed to legal@deshiapp.in.

Editorial Office

The Editorial Office directs commissioning, pitch evaluations, contributor relations, investigative planning, copy editing, source verification, format classification, headline writing, publishing calendars, and post-publication review. It ensures that published work truthfully reflects the underlying technical research and maintains strict differentiation between News, Analysis, Explainers, Investigations, Interviews, Reviews, and commercial materials. The desk also audits byline authenticity, timestamps, disclosures, source notes, graphic assets, and structured metadata across all web properties.

Story pitches, press materials, interview availabilities, and general editorial correspondence may be sent to editorial@deshiapp.in. Unsolicited submissions do not automatically establish confidentiality, an embargo agreement, a formal source relationship, or a commitment to publish. Non-disclosure or confidentiality arrangements must be formally agreed upon prior to sensitive disclosures.

Editorial Standards and Verification

The Editorial Standards desk oversees newsroom adherence to our core policies regarding factual verification, source corroboration, conflict declaration, technical benchmarking, anonymous source authorization, artificial intelligence use, election coverage, fairness, and harm mitigation. Standards editors possess full authority to mandate primary documentation, benchmark logs, source verification, author identity audits, and pre-publication right-of-reply notices. The desk may delay, reclassify, amend, or reject any draft whose claims are insufficiently supported by evidence.

The Standards desk also scrutinizes article titles, social cards, pull quotes, and visual previews to verify that promotional headlines do not overstate or distort the article’s empirical findings. Inquiries regarding editorial standards should be directed to editorial@deshiapp.in.

Corrections and Reader Accountability

The Reader Accountability function evaluates and manages factual correction requests, formal editorial complaints, right of reply petitions, and procedural challenges regarding our published standards. Correction requests should specify the article title, exact URL, contested passage, nature of the inaccuracy, and verifiable supporting documentation. Formal complaints must reference the relevant policy principle and detail the remedy sought.

Factual correction requests should be submitted directly to corrections@deshiapp.in. Formal complaints, legal grievances, and right of reply requests must be sent to complaints@deshiapp.in. Even within a compact team where editorial and administrative tasks overlap, every complaint receives an independent, documented evaluation. Wherever feasible, contested matters are reviewed by personnel not directly involved in the initial publishing decision.

Authors and Contributors

Every article published on DeshiApp features an authenticated, real-world author byline. Standard reporting is never attributed to generic administrative accounts or pseudonymous bots. Authors and guest writers are personally accountable for the originality of their writing, source verification, copyright clearances, conflict declarations, and timely cooperation during post-publication inquiries. Publishing an article on DeshiApp does not make an external writer an employee, legal agent, or official representative of the publication.

Author biographies must accurately convey genuine professional qualifications, technical backgrounds, and organizational affiliations without embellishment. Contributors write from demonstrated engineering expertise, academic scholarship, industry analysis, or firsthand investigative research. Contributor proposals should be submitted to contributors@deshiapp.in.

Guest Contribution Review

External guest submissions undergo the same thorough editorial review and verification as internal commissions. External contributions are not exempt from scrutiny, and marketing copy is not transformed into independent journalism merely by softening promotional rhetoric. Our review assesses author authenticity, technical originality, prior publication history, source citations, commercial conflicts, client affiliations, AI assistance, image licensing, and promotional backlink manipulation. PR firms, marketing agencies, and commercial sponsors must never disguise their involvement or hide client backing behind a guest contributor.

Commercial Partnerships and Advertising

The Commercial desk oversees brand advertising, sponsored content, partner initiatives, affiliate programs, and syndication agreements. Commercial representatives may discuss marketing objectives, ad formats, campaign timelines, audience metrics, technical specifications, and contractual deliverables. They are strictly prohibited from promising positive product reviews, guaranteed editorial conclusions, undisclosed link placements, immunity from critical reporting, or the suppression of legitimate investigations. All commercial programs receive clear, prominent labeling and full public disclosure.

Inquiries regarding commercial collaborations, sponsorships, and advertising should be addressed to advertising@deshiapp.in.

Privacy and Data Governance

The Privacy and Data Governance desk manages compliance with applicable data protection legislation, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and global privacy standards. It oversees reader rights requests, data retention schedules, contact inquiries, subscriber lists, and relationships with technical service vendors. Privacy requests may involve proportionate identity verification to safeguard personal data against unauthorized disclosure. Unnecessary personal documents are never collected, and sensitive data should only be transmitted via agreed, secure channels.

Data privacy requests, access inquiries, and consent rectifications should be sent to privacy@deshiapp.in.

Accessibility

The Accessibility desk monitors and addresses digital barriers concerning website navigation, visual contrast, keyboard navigation, form interfaces, alternative image text, video captions, and screen-reader compatibility. Accessibility feedback should include the page URL, specific barrier encountered, device or assistive software utilized, and recommended adjustments. Users are never required to share medical or personal health details when submitting accessibility feedback.

Accessibility feedback and technical reports should be directed to accessibility@deshiapp.in.

Security and Vulnerability Reporting

The Security desk coordinates responsible, good-faith vulnerability disclosures affecting DeshiApp’s technical infrastructure, hosting, and web applications. Security researchers must review our Security and Vulnerability Disclosure Policy before initiating testing or submitting technical reports. Vulnerability disclosures should be submitted through our designated security channel rather than standard contact forms. Researchers must avoid user data exfiltration, system denial-of-service, or intrusive exploitation.

Technical vulnerability reports and security communications must be sent to security@deshiapp.in.

General Contact

General administrative and non-urgent inquiries should be sent to contact@deshiapp.in. Submitting time-critical correction requests, legal notices, privacy petitions, or security reports to the general mailbox may cause administrative delays. Readers are strongly urged to utilize the dedicated desks listed above for urgent or specialized matters.

Named Appointments and Changes

When named Editors, Managing Editors, Standards Leads, Staff Reporters, Contributors, or Corporate Officers are appointed, this page documents their full legal name, operational title, effective date, professional credentials, core responsibilities, material outside affiliations, and verification date. Outgoing personnel are promptly removed or updated to reflect former status. Historical article bylines preserve original publication credits without implying continuing editorial roles.

Institutional Accountability

An independent digital publication does not require the sprawling bureaucracy of a legacy media conglomerate to maintain uncompromising journalistic rigor. Clear responsibility and transparency are paramount. Every operational function detailed on this masthead represents a binding operational commitment maintained across DeshiApp’s daily publishing workflow.
